A Game of Cinematic Proportions

The action-packed, lightning-quick multiplayer card game that uses images and word prompts to trigger memories and creativity. Use the cards you’re dealt to build your answer — a real movie or TV show — and watch your friends rack their brains to guess correctly.

Two Ways to Play

Shuffle.

Shuffle the Location, Character, Rumble, and Action cards together. Keep Marquee cards in a separate stack.

Deal.

Each player gets six cards from the shuffled stack.

Reveal a Marquee Card.

Turn over one Marquee card from the top of the stack. This sets the genre for everyone during the round.

Pick a Movie.

Starting to the left of the dealer and continuing clockwise, each player names a single movie that corresponds to the Marquee card and to as many cards as possible in that player’s hand.

Explain Yourself.

Players reveal the cards in their hand they are using and explain how their cards fit their chosen movie. Be creative.

Shuffle.

Shuffle all Location, Character, Rumble, and Marquee cards together. Action cards are not used for this method of play.

Reveal Two Cards.

The dealer turns over two cards.

Pick a Movie.

Beginning to the left of the dealer, each player says out loud a real movie that applies to both cards.

If a player can’t name a movie they are eliminated from the round.

After every player has participated and gameplay returns to the first player, a third card is flipped and added to the two already-flipped cards.

Each remaining player now must name a movie that fits all three cards.
Reuse your own movie. It is acceptable to keep using the same movie as long as it still fits.

No Copying!

No player may name a movie that has already been named by another player in that round.

Keep Flipping.

Gameplay continues by flipping one additional card with each round and continues until there’s one player left who can name a movie. That player collects all the flipped cards from that round.

Another Round.

A new round starts by turning over two new cards.

Winner!

Stop when you’ve had enough.
The player with the most cards wins.
